Burnout prevention
Proven mindfulness and compassion tools to help heal and recharge when we are exhausted by stress
Burnout prevention workshop
For ogranizations
The workshop helps understand burnout patterns, offers practical strategies and research-backed insights to cultivate resilience and regain vitality.
The problem
Burnout is not defined as a mental illness or disorder, but it can be just as damaging. Perceived exhaustion can make it difficult to get through another day. Loss of passion for work can cause numbness and a sense of emptiness. And the inability to do things the way they once were takes a toll on self-esteem and personal fulfillment, not to mention a decline in productivity. This is a widespread phenomenon. According to the Global Talent Trends 2024 report (Mercer HR): 82% of employees are at risk of job burnout
Paradox
Most people believe that self-criticism is an effective motivator, but it actually undermines self-confidence and leads to fear of failure (Moore et al., 2018). The motivation that comes from self-compassion stems from a desire to live a healthy and fulfilling life. It provides the emotionally supportive environment needed for change (Dundas, Binder, Hansen & Stige, 2017; Zhang & Chen, 2016).
Verified methods
The scientifically proven methods presented in the workshop - based on mindfulness and compassion - produce a mindset shift that helps relate to burnout in a kinder and more productive way. This new paradigm can be developed through a set of concrete, learnable skills that can be practiced in daily life and do not require additional time.
Replacing self-criticism with compassionate internal dialogue is not only (as research shows) a more effective and lasting way to motivate oneself, but also a boost of strength needed for self-development. It includes both warm self-acceptance and resolute action in the world. It helps us set boundaries (for ourselves and others) and build better relationships with people. The ability to emotionally regulate and deal with the stress that is inevitable in everyone's life are essential for health and for self-development.
Workshops can be delivered in Polish and English.
